I get asked this question all the time, and it’s a good job I do as so many people are applying their products in the wrong order; when I give a prescription I always write out exactly in what order and at what time being morning or night.
Using your products in the correct order is crucial because layering products give you the benefit of more specialised ingredients :-)
So it’s a no brainer once we know, we should always apply thinner serums and gels first, followed by thicker and creamer formations. If we do the opposite the heavier creams will prevent absorption of the lighter ones, meaning a complete waste of product 😥
This is my regime if it helps you to identify with your regime
After washing or cleansing face, allow skin to dry
Apply your serums in order of consistency like I said thinner ones first, always let the serum dry to the touch before adding another and so on
Apply eye cream, again allow a little time to absorb into your skin
Then apply moisturiser
Then apply SPF or if you have AlumierMD day moisturiser this is also your SPF Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF40
Until next time beautiful people... look after the skin you’re in
