Hey Beautiful People,
Firstly a massive thank you for remaining so patient at this very strange time we find ourselves in. It’s been 10 weeks since I closed the clinic doors I’ve missed being able to offer you the treatments I know you love and I cannot wait to see you all again as soon as possible, I have missed spending time with each and everyone of you sharing your lives it’s such a honour that I cherish.
My priority is to keep you as safe as possible and prior to re-opening the clinic I have implemented a number of changes which I would like to make you aware of.
During this time of lockdown I have completed the Coronavirus (COVID 19) Infection Prevention and Control course which is accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists LTD, this is the UK trade body for our industry. I have since made a number of changes in the way that I can operate you will definitely notice when you next visit.
BOOKING APPOINTMENTS
If I feel ill or have symptoms of COVID-19 I will of course self isolate immediately and not go into work this will mean I have to cancel your appointment I’m sorry to say at such short notice and I appreciate that this will be inconvenient, however it is done entirely for your own safety, if you have prepaid for your treatment I will offer you a full refund or you can carry it over to your next appointment which I will do my best to make it as convenient for you as possible.
If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of COVID-19 please advise us as soon as possible and DO NOT come to the clinic for your appointment I have amended my normal booking terms and conditions and you will not be charged for any appointments which you missed due to illness.
VISITING THE CLINIC
For your safety and to maintain social distancing I ask that you attend your appointments as close to the appointment time as possible please do not turn up early for appointments as this may mean that you could come into contact with another client who is leaving, or catch me out whilst still cleaning.
I have increased the frequency of cleaning in the salon including making sure that the common surfaces like handles, the chair of which you used et, are wiped clean using disinfectant products between each client.
All tools and equipment will be disinfected or sterilised in line with the specific manufacturers instructions for your safety wherever possible I will utilise environmentally friendly single use items during a treatment that will be disposed of safely after use in order to protect you from any cross infection.
You will have access to an automatic disinfecting gel dispenser as you walk in.
Please feel free to wear a face mask when you visit the clinic and during your treatment if appropriate, if you do not arrive with a face mask one will be provided at an additional cost.
Please don’t be surprised or upset, I will be using personal protection equipment PPE during your visit and during your treatment, this may include disposable gloves, face mask, face shields and aprons where appropriate.
I can also confirm that the laundry of the clinic towels and uniforms is a priority and I assure you all clinic laundry is washed at 60 degrees C.
All disposable items are packed and safely removed from the treatment area each day.
Please only bring the bare minimum with you, ie car keys, phone and method of payment if you haven’t already done so. Please don’t bring paper diaries and handbags, the less that comes in the less cross contamination, we can book your ongoing appointments via a phone call or email whatever your preference, if you have phone with diary we can book your next appointment there and then.
TREATMENTS
I have carried out a risk assessment of all treatments and I am confident that I can continue to provide these safely however I have decided that the following treatment cannot be provided until further notice due to guidelines for now that being SkinPen microneedling I’m sorry to say.
DURING YOUR TREATMENT
I completely understand the importance of hand hygiene and I will ensure that I wash my hands in accordance with the NHS recommendations before the start of your treatment.
I will do my very best to make your treatment as safe, comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatment please do let me know and I will do what I can to satisfy you.
AFTER THE TREATMENT
Please do not be offended that I would ask you to leave (this will be a first) this is to allow me time to clean and be prepared for the next client without you bumping into anyone all of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and mine and I will continue to take advice from the government and the NHS regarding safe practice, I will amend them as necessary.
I can not wait to see your lovely faces again and when you next visit the clinic you will also see other changes, my husband James has been very busy refurbishing, it’s not finished yet but most definitely will be by the time I’m back up and running fingers crossed for July although we haven’t been given a definite date it all depends on what the government tells us.
I can report I’m in excellent health and enjoying time at home with James, I’ve been busying myself with online courses stretching my knowledge and of course enjoying this lovely weather (with SPF protection) and beautiful country walks.
Sending love and wishing you a healthy and happy month ahead and hope to see you very soon
Sam Xx
